Role Description
A Global Non-commercial Organization is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support the infrastructure modernization of its product, Farm2Go. The role focuses on improving the product’s stability, security, and compliance with internal standards. The ideal candidate will lead the transition of AWS infrastructure across regions and accounts, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and drive security automation (DevSecOps).

Responsibilities

  • Consolidate Infrastructure as Code (CDK) within the Azure DevOps repository and align it with the actual AWS infrastructure

  • Deploy IaC through Azure Release pipelines

  • Migrate AWS resources from eu-central-1 (Frankfurt) to eu-west-1 (Ireland)

  • Separate dev, QA, and prod environments into distinct AWS accounts

  • Implement DevSecOps practices, including security automation and compliance tooling

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps

  • Optimize Docker-based deployments, especially for Django applications

  • Manage AWS services: ECS (Fargate/EC2), ALB, RDS (PostgreSQL), S3, IAM, CloudWatch

  • Integrate centralized monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies

  • Collaborate closely with development teams and write clear documentation

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on DevOps experience

  • Strong expertise with IaC (CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation)

  • Experience managing multi-environment AWS setups

  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps pipelines and AWS credential management

  • Solid knowledge of ECS (Fargate/EC2), Docker, RDS, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager

  • Experience with DevSecOps: security scanning (SAST, DAST, container, IaC), WAF, and secure Django deployments

  • Familiarity with CloudWatch, centralized logging, and observability best practices

  • Effective communication skills and proactive approach to system improvements

  • Excellent documentation habits and team collaboration mindset
