Backend Developer (Java, GraphQL, Spring Boot) | Remote

Job description

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join an international team working on large-scale web applications.

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in Java 11+, Spring Boot, GraphQL, JPA/Hibernate, and RESTful API design
Good understanding of SQL (MySQL) and query optimization
Experience with OAuth2, JWT, and secure API development
Familiarity with JSF (optional)

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain secure and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and JPA
Develop and expose well-structured REST APIs to support new front-end components and web applications
Ensure compliance with OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect and internal security standards
Collaborate with front-end developers, technical lead, and solution architect on API contracts and integrations
Work as part of a collaborative, self-organizing, cross-functional team
